Happy Birthday to ME!

Birthdays are a big deal in my house. Mostly for the kids.

I don’t care. I want to celebrate. I don’t care if it’s not mature or if I look childish for getting excited. 

I’m old enough to know that if I want to celebrate, I have to do it. I need to bake the cake, blow up the balloons, make the plans. 

BDAY Plans

I don’t actually have a whole lot planned for my birthday (shortened above to ‘bday’). I baked myself some cinammon buns for breakfast.

Last month, when it was everyone’s birthday (Mitch’s, Melody’s, & Alice’s) I did a lot of cake-baking. I saved one of the rounds so that I could just pull it out of the freezer today. We have to add some icing and that will be a nice quick treat for us.

I do hope to get some crocheting done because I’ll be announcing a new CAL (Crochet-A-Long) next week and I need this for the pretty photo.
