Magic Decanter Crochet-A-Long
Mosaic Crochet, Week 6: Rows 152 – 180 & Border
Week 6
This is our final week! We get to finish the blanket by doing rows 152 through 180 and then you get to decide if you want to add an optional envelope border.
The envelope border will encase the cut ends and hide them in a nice looking frame on all 4 sides of your blanket.
You can also choose to put an envelope border only on the sides where the cut ends are. This saves you time and yarn on the top and bottom where an envelope border isn’t technically needed but the look is different and may not be what you like.
You can also leave the ends (maybe trim them and make the lengths uniform) or weave them in (not my cup of tea but it is a valid option!).
180 Rows?
You may recall, our foundation row was called row 0, so technically the final row we crochet will be our 181st row but we call it 180. I made a mistake with the promotional materials by labeling the final week with “181”.

Optional Envelope Border
If you like the cut ends, leave them as is!
If you want to avoid weaving them all in, try an envelope border!
There are a few options when it comes to envelope borders.
