Don’t tell the other squares but this might be my favorite one. I think it looks so cute and I picked my favorite color for this square so that helps too!
I unofficially call this one “Sleepy Kitten”. I am horrible at naming my patterns, so I’ve liked the lazy method of just using the months as the titles, but sometimes it’s easier to refer to the image.
I know this will be a boring paragraph if you’ve been following along each month, but if you’re new to me or to this cat series you may want to know the following details:
- There will be a total of 12 cat squares (one for each month of the year)
- Each square comes with the written pattern and a chart for TWO techniques: interlocking crochet and overlay mosaic crochet
- The interlocking version (also called Locked Filet Mesh / LFM) has a chart size of 81 x 81
- The overlay mosaic version has been adjusted so there are no unnecessary border lines and no mesh dots so the chart size is 77 x 77
- At the end of the year I will also add an all-in-one blanket pattern (so you don’t need to sew squares together) for each technique to the eBook; it will not be available separately
- There is a mini-series inside this series: the March, June, September, and December cat squares spell “Love”
Another thing that you might already know: Ravelry is my preferred method of getting patterns to you. The platform is easy to update, easy for you to have access to your patterns (download again and again), etc. Etsy and the Direct Purchase option on my website require that I manually email you the updates, so it is less convenient but I like to make sure everyone has an option they like.
